Welcome to LookingforGroup.cloud ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our application ("App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the App. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

The App is designed to help users find and connect with others for video game groups and leagues, including but not limited to World of Warcraft, RuneScape, Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Epic Games, and fantasy football.

We provide tools for messaging, group creation, and optional voice/video chat.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.

If you are under the age of majority in your state or country, you must have parental or guardian consent.

You agree not to use the App if it is prohibited in your jurisdiction.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account by providing your first and last name, email address, and a password.

You may optionally provide gaming usernames (such as Xbox, PSN, Steam, Epic, or RuneScape).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activity under your account.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful purposes, harassment, or abuse.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Attempt to hack, overload, or disrupt the App.
  • Share content that is offensive, harmful, or violates intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Communications

We may send you account-related communications such as password resets, security notifications, or service updates.

By using the App, you consent to receiving these communications.

We use third-party providers such as Twilio for text/voice/video features and may use email services to deliver password resets.

6. Privacy and Data

We collect your name, email, and optional gaming usernames.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data may be stored and processed on servers hosted by Replit or other third-party providers.

7. Voice and Video Features

The App may provide optional voice and video chat, powered by Twilio.

You are responsible for your conduct during these calls.

We do not monitor or record your communications, but service providers may process data to enable the connection.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and materials provided through the App (excluding user-generated content) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or use them without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, about the reliability, security, or availability of the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the App, including interruptions, data loss, or unauthorized access.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
